Founder and President Vijay Rangarajan is the chief architect for Rebus Technology and lead designer of the Recollect suite. A key player in image processing and pattern recognition technology development since 1983, he has designed and managed the development of numerous breakthrough technologies in the field of scanning, OCR, and document management. A co-author of the original TIFF specification, Mr. Rangarajan is the former Project Manager at Caere Corporation, where he participated in the design and management of OmniPage, one of the industry"s most successful achievements. This design resulted in PC Magazine’s Technical Excellence Award. While working with DEST Corporation, he was instrumental in the design of software for the first successful desktop scanner in the industry.
